WAY OF BUTRON RIVER

From its source on Mount Bizkargi to its mouth in Plentzia, the Butron River is home to a varied and valuable natural and cultural heritage.

The GR 280 allows us to discover the Butron river basin along the route between Fruiz and Plentzia. On the way, it crosses the municipality of Gatika and offers us the opportunity to enjoy the unique setting of the Butron castle.
