Barinatxe is a long beach, open to the sea and backed by a high cliff covered in thick vegetation and very often teeming with paragliders.

This beach offers numerous sporting activities, where surf is predominant, thanks to the quality of the waves.

The sides of the beach are nudist areas and this is where the famous annual nudist race is held every summer.

The summer also sees the Sopelbus service start up, ferrying people from the metro station at Larrabasterra to this beach, also known as “La Salvaje”, “The Wild Beach”, because of its particular system of dunes and its unpredictable ecosystem.

Barinatxe beach enjoys good access routes, public services, showers, litter bins, a car park and lifeguards during the summer season.
